What do you want in a hostel? Friendly and helpful staff, check. Well priced and good size rooms, check. Great location with easy access to all the locations around Dublin, check. Delicious and filling breakfast included, check. 24 hour reception, free Wi-Fi and free luggage storage, check. 24 hour hot and high pressure showers, check (best showers we have had). Good security for your belongings, check. Comfortable beds and linen, check. This hostel cannot be missed, the best hostel in Dublin.

The hostel was in a great location and you could walk to just about anywhere but it was far enough away from Templar Bar that you didn't get the noise. Staff was very helpful when we needed directions to places and even told us what bus to take and where to get on. Had a great time.

First, I spent like 4 weeks in last february and march and it was great. Everything was perfect . And so I came again last week end to realise that they change the decorations of the walls, they bought new chairs, new tables, new pillows. So they improve the comfort of the guests in a really good way but it was only one thing it didn't change it was the kindlynness of the staff ( they are all very welcoming and i will have a special thanks to Connor : the best of all ). Will come back again .

Never ever somewhere else!!! Absolutely the best experience I made. The Staff is really cool, and you will always meet new guys from all over the world.

i stayed at ashfield house while traveling through dublin with my son, 19. while i typically stay at hotels, i thought my son might prefer the hostel. to my surprise, so did i! i particularly appreciated the assistance given to us by the staff in navigating our way around dublin. kudos to ashfield house for knowing the value of hospitality and customer service!

Hôtel très bien placé, en centre ville et juste au pied de l'arrêt du bus 16A qui vient de l'aéroport. Le personnel était très sympathique et serviable. Le petit déjeuner inclus est plus que copieux. Si j'ai l'occasion de retourner à Dublin, je réserverai à nouveau cet hôtel, et je le recommande.

Great time, great fun, amazingly cheap. Stayed in the 16-person dorm. Was cleaned every day and the provided breakfast was sufficient. Free wifi worked well.

I wish I could give location a 110%. It's just steps away from Trinity College, and right in the heart of the city. Had a great airport shuttle and free breakfast. Staff was always willing to provide advice and rooms were pretty clean.

It was a lovely accommodation. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Dublin, the staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was pretty ok for a hostel and they cleaned the rooms everyday. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to Dublin.

We had a fantastic time at Ashfield House. The staff was super helpful and nice and everything was very clean. The breakfast was great, especially considering what some hostels give out for "free breakfast."

Fantastic location and staff - great value. Breakfasts brilliant: eggs, toast, cereals, juice, jams etc. Free tea and coffee all day on top. Staff are ultra friendly. Rooms are clean and very simple. Free ear plugs are on offer too. Staff do all they can to help at all times.

I spent a week in the Ashfield room and it was basically amazing! I was there with my friend and we had such a good time! We made friends with almost every staff member... Everyone that worked there was fun and great help! Stay in the Ashfield room because you meet so many great people. The hostel was in a great place and easy to get everywhere! Definitely the best week of my life! Stay here!

The staff was fantastic - they answered all of our questions to help us get around, even providing bus numbers and stop information! Breakfast was also great, and the hostel was kept very clean. We were given free sheets and a duvet - it felt very posh in comparison with some other places we stayed!

Ashfield house was a dream! For ten euro, we were right in the heart of Dublin on a Saturday night, welcomed by incredibly friendly staff and top facilities. DEFINITELY coming back!

Great Hostel, was concerned at first when booking but the location was right in the centre, 1 maybe 2 min walk to the temple bar area. Great security within the hostel regarding room keys etc. Would deffinately recommend. Thanks for a great stay x
